This past Friday I attended a Summer Skin & Style Event hosted by All For You Medspa and Remy + Rose Boutique in St. Louis, MO. They had food catered, adult capri suns, a fashion show, live demonstrations of cosmetic injectables and a rep present to answer questions and customize skincare. 
I am a brand ambassador for Remy + Rose Boutique, so you have probably seen me mention them in the past if you follow any of my social media accounts. I also wrote a blog post and did a try-on haul in this post here. They have a combination of super cute basics, trendy items, bralettes, jewelry, shoes and accessories. When I saw this "What Would Dolly Do?" Graphic T-Shirt it was love at first sight. I also decided to try on these elastic high-waisted button up denim shorts and they fit like a DREAM! Super roomy and comfortable and not at all the type of short you have to constantly pull down. Add to CART! I also scored that cute dress draped across the chair in the second picture. I'll be doing another try-on haul soon so stayed tuned!
This gray trendy hat was out of my comfort zone, but I ended up purchasing that as well. Cue me going to Pinterest to see how all the young, cool girls style it. If you know me at all, you know I looove hiding underneath a baseball cap, because hello--you don't have to style your hair. So I'm hoping this will be my fancier and less frumpy option.  They also had a fashion show with models in 4 different age ranges to demonstrate how the clothing from Remy + Rose Boutique can be styled for each person. Skincare and treatment recommendations were also made, which I thought was a really smart idea!
 All For You MedSpa has an amazing Nurse Injector named Julie and she did live demonstrations of both Botox and Juvederm Ultra. I originally filmed this in portrait mode for Instagram Stories, but decided to edit it the best I could to fit into YouTube so that more people could watch and share it. It is SO important to do your research when choosing to get any kind of cosmetic injectables, and as you can see, Julie knows her stuff. She is also very detail-oriented and conservative in her treatments so that you won't walk out looking like a cartoon. Drinking plenty of water is paramount to keep every system in your body working at optimum levels. It also makes your skin look more youthful and plump as an added bonus. When I find myself not getting all of my water intake, I notice it in my skin, lips and energy levels. Keeping a cute tumbler or water bottle nearby helps motivate me to drink more water. BUT HOW MUCH WATER AM I SUPPOSED TO DRINK?! At minimum, you should drink about half your weight in ounces each day, and I know for some people they find it difficult to even accomplish that. Ideally, you should drink about 2/3 of your weight. For someone who is 125 lbs, they should be consuming about 84 oz each day.
