Review of Revlon Lip Products
I recently received three Revlon lip products (gifted) to review including a lip gloss, lip liner and a lip polish. One product was an obvious winner and one an absolute fail! Keep on reading if you are interested in my experience with these Revlon lip products.
Revlon Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish: https://shopstyle.it/l/6NjW
Revlon’s Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish gives you lacquered lips in one swipe, is infused with Vitamin E and Shea butter, and has a precise applicator for smooth application.
I received the shade Berry Blissed, an ultra shiny berry shade perfect for fall! I really liked that this product felt nourishing and was easy to apply. This delivered a high shine vinyl finish that makes for a great photo! My only concern with such a bold and moisturizing product is that it will move--and it did ever so slightly into the corners of my mouth with just talking. I would not recommend wearing this product in a deep shade if you are attending an event where there is eating and drinking involved. It will end up all of your glass and your face! If you are going to brave this scenario, then I recommend that you bring a mirrored compact and the Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish for touchups.
Revlon Super Lustrous The Gloss: https://shopstyle.it/l/6Nmw
Revlon Super Lustrous The Gloss provides glossy color, non-stick shine, and a new formula with agave for moisturized lips.
I received the shade Rose Quartz, which is a glossy holographic pink. I loved the packaging as soon as I saw it. It has a very high-end vibe with the font and gold lettering. This has the biggest wand/doe foot applicator I have ever seen on a lip product. This is apparently called a reservoir tip and was designed to saturate the lips with color. Revlon claims that this Super Lustrous Lipgloss is not sticky or tacky, but I don't 100% agree. While I did not find this lip gloss to be sticky, I did find that it had a slight tackiness to it--the kind that means the gloss will be on your lips for awhile. In lipglosses, I always tend to lean toward these lighter shades due to ease of application and the ability to reapply on the go without much afterthought.
Revlon Colorstay Lip Liner: https://shopstyle.it/l/6Nmx
Revlon’s ColorStay Longwear Lip Liner gives you flawless application with color that applies evenly, defines lips, and lasts all day.
I will start by saying that maybe I received a bad liner. Maybe. It was awful! It immediately broke and then broke inside of the included sharpener when I tried to fix it. I gave up and applied it to my lips with it's flat top, only for it to continue to crumble onto my lips. I have never seen anything like it. There used to be a Revlon liner that was my holy grail, and it was nothing like this one! I received the shade Wine and it was recommended that I pair it with mauve & berry shade lipsticks, so I applied it underneath the Berry Blissed Ultra HD Vinyl Lip Polish.
I strongly encourage you to check out my First Impressions video on these three Revlon lip products. Some of my favorite videos are first impressions because it is a completely raw review. Have you tried any of these Revlon lip products?
I’ve been using this product for a couple weeks now, so here is my review! This product is a little difficult to get out of the pan, I usually have to rub my brush across it a few times to pick up any powder. This is a finishing powder, so it is not meant to set makeup or add any additional coverage. It has a slight peach tint and very light shimmer, almost like a veil. I do feel like it blurs imperfections , pores and light texture. If you have dry patches or heavy texture, this product may not be for you. I would apply sparingly, again as it is a finishing powder and should be applied as your final step.
This does leave a slight peachy/pink tint so depending on your skin tone it might not work for you. I tend to have peachy undertones anyway so I didn’t notice much of a difference. I am definitely happy I picked this up to try & especially for that price! And hello! The packaging is adorable.

Amazon Prime Day Haul 2019
Did you shop on Amazon Prime Day? I never seem to go for the big ticket items, but found some great deals in the beauty section! I have always wanted to try the Mario Badescu Super Collagen Mask & Hada Labo Skin Plumping Gel Cream, so this was the perfect opportunity to check them out! I also purchased this great set of earrings! They were not a prime deal, but they work out to be about $2 a pair! Click the photos below to go straight to the Amazon listing if your are interested!
Check out my YouTube video below to see more info on the products I hauled on Amazon Prime Day this year! What deals did you get this year?
Unless you've been living under a rock, you know how important it is to take care of and protect your skin in the summer. You will want to look for a sunscreen that offers both UVA and UVB protection. UVB rays play the greatest role in producing sunburn and causing skin cancers. UVA rays also play a role in causing skin cancer, but they also cause premature aging, including wrinkles!
Hawaiian Tropic Antioxidant Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 With Green tea extract
I really like the way this sunscreen feels on the skin and it blends in really nicely. I prefer to use SPF 50 or higher when going to the beach, because of the sun's rays being reflected off of the sand.
Coola Classic Sport Face SPF50 White Tea
I received this SPF in a FabFitFun box and have enjoyed using it this summer. It feels nice on the face and absorbs well without leaving white streaks. This is also a moisturizer, so save space in your travel bag with this dual product.
Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Weightless After Sun Lotion
If you find that despite your best efforts to reapply every 2 hours, I really enjoy using this after sun lotion. It contains aloe, but I prefer this over straight aloe because this does not leave a sticky feeling. When on vacation, I use this as my body lotion, burned or not. Being in the sun can dehydrate your skin, so it's best to restore the moisture. I prefer to apply this straight after a shower.
The ColourPop Cosmetics Mar Palette has easily been one of my favorite eye shadow palettes of the summer. I find the color combinations to be very versatile, allowing natural and creative looks alike. I did a more bold look for my birthday and you can check it out HERE.
I started by buffing Sorbet into the crease as a transition color. I placed Wild One on the outer half of the eyelid and Boozy on the inner half. Sometimes I'll stop right there and keep the look neutral, maybe running Wild One along the lower lashline. But I decided to add a little pop of color to this look and used a combination of Gridlock and Hwy on the lower lashline.

I needed something to go with my What Would Dolly Do? shirt from Remy + Rose Boutique, after all.
Marshall's Haul July 2019 & My Tips For Finding Name Brand Makeup at Marshall's
I've been in and out of Marshall's recently treasure hunting and found some really great things! I always make sure to check out the beauty section and here are my tips for finding the goods:

Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer https://shopstyle.it/l/6mGe
Erno Laszlo Sensitive Cleansing Oil https://shopstyle.it/l/6mGc

Check out my YouTube video below for my full haul! I have been using the Too Faced products and really like them! The Sweetie Pie Bronzer would definitely be best for fair to light/medium skintones as it is not that dark.
What has been your best Marshall's find?
I received this box of IsaDora Cosmetics through a BzzAgent campaign for testing purposes. I was not financially compensated & all opinions are my own.
IsaDora Cosmetics is a Swedish brand that was started in the 80s that is Fragrance Free & Clinically Tested. In the states, it is sold exclusively at Walgreen's. They claimed that it was formulated due to the lack of colors, quality, low price point and packaging found in other brands on the market at the time.
I'm not quite sure how the brand has transitioned throughout the years, if at all. I personally found the packaging and performance of the products to be subpar to other drugstore products available today, especially for the price! For example, the Face Sculptor retails for $25 and the clear circular insert of the packaging has already come loose.
I did enjoy using the foundation and did not experience any weird patchy areas as it wore through the day and I liked that it had a pump on it. While the liquid liner was a bear to apply due to the large and inflexible applicator, it did last the whole day and took some effort to remove. And finally, the mascara has an expandable wand to allow more control during application and although it is not a waterproof formula, it really held the curl in my stick straight stubborn lashes.

Pixi Beauty Vitamin-C Collection
Pixi Beauty recently gifted me 5 products from their Vitamin-C Collection. I have really been enjoying using the Juice Cleanser in the morning for a quick cleanse before applying my SPF moisturizer and eye cream. It is similar to a micellar water and very refreshing. I have also been using the Vitamin-C Lotion at night since I ran out of my usual night cream and it feels really nice on the skin. I am still loyal to my Pixi Glowtonic Toner, but I am looking forward to incorporating the Vitamin-C Toner once it runs out.

This past Friday I attended a Summer Skin & Style Event hosted by All For You Medspa and Remy + Rose Boutique in St. Louis, MO. They had food catered, adult capri suns, a fashion show, live demonstrations of cosmetic injectables and a rep present to answer questions and customize skincare.
I am a brand ambassador for Remy + Rose Boutique, so you have probably seen me mention them in the past if you follow any of my social media accounts. I also wrote a blog post and did a try-on haul in this post here.
They have a combination of super cute basics, trendy items, bralettes, jewelry, shoes and accessories. When I saw this "What Would Dolly Do?" Graphic T-Shirt it was love at first sight. I also decided to try on these elastic high-waisted button up denim shorts and they fit like a DREAM! Super roomy and comfortable and not at all the type of short you have to constantly pull down. Add to CART! I also scored that cute dress draped across the chair in the second picture. I'll be doing another try-on haul soon so stayed tuned!
This gray trendy hat was out of my comfort zone, but I ended up purchasing that as well. Cue me going to Pinterest to see how all the young, cool girls style it. If you know me at all, you know I looove hiding underneath a baseball cap, because hello--you don't have to style your hair. So I'm hoping this will be my fancier and less frumpy option.
They also had a fashion show with models in 4 different age ranges to demonstrate how the clothing from Remy + Rose Boutique can be styled for each person. Skincare and treatment recommendations were also made, which I thought was a really smart idea!
All For You MedSpa has an amazing Nurse Injector named Julie and she did live demonstrations of both Botox and Juvederm Ultra. I originally filmed this in portrait mode for Instagram Stories, but decided to edit it the best I could to fit into YouTube so that more people could watch and share it. It is SO important to do your research when choosing to get any kind of cosmetic injectables, and as you can see, Julie knows her stuff. She is also very detail-oriented and conservative in her treatments so that you won't walk out looking like a cartoon.
If you live in the St. Louis area, or plan to be passing through I highly recommend you check out both the MedSpa & Boutique! They also facial treatments such as dermaplaning and hydrafacials and they made it to the A-List for St. Louis! Remy + Rose Boutique is located inside of All For You MedSpa and is located at:
6324 Telegraph Rd,
St. Louis, MO 63129
or give them a call: (314) 293-7546
If you are not local and would like to check out the boutique or just prefer online shopping, you can purchase many of their items on their website:
And my followers can receive 15% off when they use the code FANCY15 at checkout!
What spa treatment is on your wishlist? I am dying to try the hydrafacial!
