Unless you've been living under a rock, you know how important it is to take care of and protect your skin in the summer. You will want to look for a sunscreen that offers both UVA and UVB protection. UVB rays play the greatest role in producing sunburn and causing skin cancers. UVA rays also play a role in causing skin cancer, but they also cause premature aging, including wrinkles!
Hawaiian Tropic Antioxidant Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 With Green tea extract
I really like the way this sunscreen feels on the skin and it blends in really nicely. I prefer to use SPF 50 or higher when going to the beach, because of the sun's rays being reflected off of the sand. Coola Classic Sport Face SPF50 White Tea I received this SPF in a FabFitFun box and have enjoyed using it this summer. It feels nice on the face and absorbs well without leaving white streaks. This is also a moisturizer, so save space in your travel bag with this dual product. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Weightless After Sun Lotion If you find that despite your best efforts to reapply every 2 hours, I really enjoy using this after sun lotion. It contains aloe, but I prefer this over straight aloe because this does not leave a sticky feeling. When on vacation, I use this as my body lotion, burned or not. Being in the sun can dehydrate your skin, so it's best to restore the moisture. I prefer to apply this straight after a shower.

Throw on this sweet little tiered babydoll dress, flat sandals and stud earrings and head to the farmer's market this weekend. Don't forget to put your sunnies and some cash in your little straw handbag so you can taste the last of summer's sweetness.
I asked my Facebook friends what books I should add to my summer reading list and here they are! Some of these were recommended multiple times. Sneak some time to yourself to enjoy one last summer read! (just click on each picture to go to amazon!)
Have you read any of these books? What is your summer reading recommendation? xo Sarah This past Friday I attended a Summer Skin & Style Event hosted by All For You Medspa and Remy + Rose Boutique in St. Louis, MO. They had food catered, adult capri suns, a fashion show, live demonstrations of cosmetic injectables and a rep present to answer questions and customize skincare. I am a brand ambassador for Remy + Rose Boutique, so you have probably seen me mention them in the past if you follow any of my social media accounts. I also wrote a blog post and did a try-on haul in this post here. They have a combination of super cute basics, trendy items, bralettes, jewelry, shoes and accessories. When I saw this "What Would Dolly Do?" Graphic T-Shirt it was love at first sight. I also decided to try on these elastic high-waisted button up denim shorts and they fit like a DREAM! Super roomy and comfortable and not at all the type of short you have to constantly pull down. Add to CART! I also scored that cute dress draped across the chair in the second picture. I'll be doing another try-on haul soon so stayed tuned! This gray trendy hat was out of my comfort zone, but I ended up purchasing that as well. Cue me going to Pinterest to see how all the young, cool girls style it. If you know me at all, you know I looove hiding underneath a baseball cap, because hello--you don't have to style your hair. So I'm hoping this will be my fancier and less frumpy option. ![]() They also had a fashion show with models in 4 different age ranges to demonstrate how the clothing from Remy + Rose Boutique can be styled for each person. Skincare and treatment recommendations were also made, which I thought was a really smart idea! All For You MedSpa has an amazing Nurse Injector named Julie and she did live demonstrations of both Botox and Juvederm Ultra. I originally filmed this in portrait mode for Instagram Stories, but decided to edit it the best I could to fit into YouTube so that more people could watch and share it. It is SO important to do your research when choosing to get any kind of cosmetic injectables, and as you can see, Julie knows her stuff. She is also very detail-oriented and conservative in her treatments so that you won't walk out looking like a cartoon. If you live in the St. Louis area, or plan to be passing through I highly recommend you check out both the MedSpa & Boutique! They also facial treatments such as dermaplaning and hydrafacials and they made it to the A-List for St. Louis! Remy + Rose Boutique is located inside of All For You MedSpa and is located at: 6324 Telegraph Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129 or give them a call: (314) 293-7546 If you are not local and would like to check out the boutique or just prefer online shopping, you can purchase many of their items on their website: https://remy-rose-boutique-llc.myshopify.com/ And my followers can receive 15% off when they use the code FANCY15 at checkout! What spa treatment is on your wishlist? I am dying to try the hydrafacial! xo Sarah
Drinking plenty of water is paramount to keep every system in your body working at optimum levels. It also makes your skin look more youthful and plump as an added bonus. When I find myself not getting all of my water intake, I notice it in my skin, lips and energy levels. Keeping a cute tumbler or water bottle nearby helps motivate me to drink more water. Here are some cute options you can check out to up your H2O game. Just click on each item to go to the retailer's website.
BUT HOW MUCH WATER AM I SUPPOSED TO DRINK?! At minimum, you should drink about half your weight in ounces each day, and I know for some people they find it difficult to even accomplish that. Ideally, you should drink about 2/3 of your weight. For someone who is 125 lbs, they should be consuming about 84 oz each day.
If you are someone who does not enjoy the taste of water, try adding fruit. I wrote a blog a few years ago about the benefits of drinking lemon water. You can check it out here: www.xofancy.com/blog/benefits-of-drinking-lemon-water
I prefer my water filtered, so I use this Brita Ultramax 18 cup pitcher that I keep in my fridge and fill up every few days. You can get your own on Amazon Prime:

Give it a try! xo Sarah Do you know the new buzzword in the beauty industry? “Screen Face” - skin damage caused by our dependence on digital technology. Aside from contributing to gradual vision loss and sleep problems, blue light is also causing you to look a lot older than you actually are. The skin around your eyes is one of the thinnest and most sensitive areas of your body, and becomes the most damaged when exposed to blue light, resulting in: 👇🏼
I have been loving these Anti-Blue Light Glasses from Topfoxx: http://bit.ly/2O0FU7B (So much, that I am wearing them as we speak.) This Audrey in Tortoise style is already sold out and other styles are running low! Use code FANCY15 to save $$$ and your eyes while you can! http://bit.ly/2O0FU7B
TIP: You can also adjust the settings on your phone to reduce the blue light. Definitely set your phone to dim a few hours before you typically go to bed to prevent blue light-induced insomnia! xo Sarah I don't know about you, but 2018 has flown by. It's hard to believe that another Christmas season is upon us and now more than ever, I'm relying on my Amazon Prime membership. When I feel overwhelmed with the cooking, cleaning, decorating, hosting, shopping, wrapping, baking, etc it is so nice to be able to order gifts or household items without an additional errand. I still shop traditional retail stores, but there are always those hard to shop for people or sold out items that can complicate your to do list. I've shopped from my bed during an insomniac episode, and from the bathtub trying to soak away the stress. Ya feel me? No matter what online shopping you do this season (or ever, really) you must--I repeat, YOU MUST, sign up for Ebates. It's free and tracks your shopping trips to reimburse you with whatever percentage they are offering for the specific retailer. Right now, Amazon is up to 10% cashback for example. Sign up with this link and then make sure to go to ebates, click on the store you want to shop at, and then the cash back will be added to your account. They send checks out quarterly and I just cashed my most recent one. Now, back to Amazon. Here are some of my handpicked items that I think anyone who likes rose gold glam would love. A charging cable to keep your phone selfie-ready, a portable speaker to jam to while getting ready with the super cute makeup brush set and a coffee travel mug to keep you fueled up through all of the holiday craziness. Click each photo to be redirected to each specific item. I know I personally would love to receive any of these items as gifts, and already own several of them. Do you want to see more gift ideas? Different retailers? Let me know below! Cheers to another holiday season.

We all know how important it is to drink plenty of water, right? It keeps all of your body's systems working in tip top shape and makes your skin look more youthful and plump as an added bonus. I have made drinking more water an important goal in my daily routine and there is one simple hack that has made it easier for me to do. Buy yourself a cute tumbler or water bottle. At home I prefer to use a tumbler with a lid and straw, but if I am on the go or at work, I like to use a bottle with a screw-top. Here are some super cute options that would definitely motivate me to drink my H2O.
Here is the tumbler I am using today, and as you can see I am ready for my third refill. Even though St. Louis easily has the best water, I still prefer the taste of it filtered. I used to use a Brita pitcher, but found that I would dread having to refill it every day or more. I decided to purchase this Ultramax version which I typically have to refill every 2-3 days. You can get your own Brita system HERE.

One low-cost, easy way to freshen up your everyday style is a brand new phone case. These are 50%+ off at Nordstrom Rack right now! Which one is your favorite?
My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico and it was amazing! It was my first time visiting Mexico, and we stayed at Secrets Akumal which is a beautiful & luxurious all inclusive resort. We spent most of our days either at the beach or lounging next to one of the three infinity pools. Despite owning a global beauty business, I prefer to be as bare-faced as possible at the beach. I saw lots of ladies rocking their bold lips, but for me I prefer the natural look of a tinted lip balm that nourishes the lips while giving a hint of color. It's also the perfect time to relax with shades on and catch up on your favorite podcasts. And don't forget to reapply that SPF! I thought I would share the items I kept at my side the whole trip! ![]() 1. Tarte Iridescent Makeup bag to keep everything protected. This is also where I kept my phone and cash for tips. 2.
